Best Nest Position

hi can anybody tell me the best nest position for a cock bird iv been told 12 to 14 day eggs the day of lib why im asking is the race im looking at is 21st of june basketing on the 19th his hen has just laid her first egg tonight he is 2 year old and these are his first eggs this year has she laid to early

Honestly all depends on pigeon some are more keen at 7 days others at hatching others with a big young bird in nest is it his first nest

hi yes this is his first nest he was raced last week on roundabout 400 ml he was my first bird 2 nd club 10 1/2 hours on the wing in to a head wind

Well he tell you when he's ready just keep a aye on him see what he like around nest a had that with a wee yearling hen few years back slipped a a baby in the nite of basketing and it did the trick

that means he will have been sitting 16 days at day of basketing bearing in mind they dont start to incububate untill the second egg which will be 5th so he will be sent sitting 14 day eggs,the thing that I would concerned about is should the race be another head wind after a 400 mile mile /10.5 hrs.............good luck
