Guest lambrechts31 Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 Opened the loft this morn to let the last of the young birds out, they were merrily jumping from sputnik to ground, so put the bath out as its a nice day, everything fine, left them to it, then bang goes a wheely bin getting slammed, everything took off, that was at 0700, its now 1600 all back bar 4 then 1 of the neighbours told me there were 2 dead pigeons in her garden half eaten, and yes they were mine and it had to be my favourite ones, i only keep as a hobby, i dont know how you guys racing them carry on when you lose so many. :emoticon-0179-headbang:

Walter swanston Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 Pigeons and pigeon racing is full of disappointments but I do'nt care even though my 80 year old frame is beginning to creak a bit I am going to keep at it until they carry me out of here ina box.
