know the feeling,saying that ive a few new stockbirds..svr,cuesters.

im letting a pair out a box at a time,some leading straw in...MOST cant be bothered

left to it i think they would prefur a bare nest bowl :mad:

i stick the lights on 6.30 first thing,wake em up get them active :)

Ghost how long did you leave the lights on before pairing? In winter breeding I've found lights and the hens being the right weight a must, to get them laying between 7-10 days. If not enough light and slightly fat, they will go ten days and over.
