Laptop is giving trouble when I start up its saying no bootable device insert boot disc and press any key

remove battery from the lappy for a while and make sure no discs in the cd drive and try again.

 

if this fails, watch screen when you turn it on and you should see at the bottom "press F2 " or some other key to "Enter Setup", do this and then "load bios default" , save and exit then and try again.

 

 

can be a few things mate that cause this. knackered hard drive being the worse case scenario
