Guest geordiejen Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 ive been giving them brewers yeast once a week mate, should i up it to twice a week?peanuts well its haloween season i will be doing my usual mugging the kids for there bag of goodies.
Wiley Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 If you want to build them up I would use brewers yeast nearly everyday until they are at the required bodyweight.
Guest Owen Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 If the birds are healthy you need not give them extra feed until about three weeks before pairing them. However, if they were mine I would get them checked for canker cocci and worms just to be on the safe side. I would vaccinate them about 3/4 weeks before you breed from them because it will help to fend off the Young Bird Sickness.

I'm a little suprised that birds brought in this time of year would be mean and lean due to moulting. Like Owen says in his post check for anything untowards like worms ect
