Well done to Billy on his third young win of the season well done Wullie, and you seem to have been proven right Gareth racing down the west, have watched some knock you every week on here about your openness about wanting to and being able to fly your young birds on the west and I can bet a few will be perhaps changing their minds next year

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 well done Wullie, and you seem to have been proven right Gareth racing down the west, have watched some knock you every week on here about your openness about wanting to and being able to fly your young birds on the west and I can bet a few will be perhaps changing their minds next yearYes its surprising the fanciers that have now changed there minds. Can only thank the members of the Lanarkshire fed for not signing the motion to call a egm to revert to the east side for the start of the young bird season, if enough signatures had been gained at that time then I have no doubt that we would never be racing down the west for the next 5-6 years. After the young bird season down the west being so successful it will be hard to see members voting to go back down the east, but if they do, then every year from now, pro west members will have a legitimate claim/proposal that west is best at the relevant race program meeting.
