Vicki Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 I haven't got close enough to get a full ring number yet (but its white). The bird is really quite active and looks plump - more so than Pidge did. Is it OK to leave for a day and see if it decides to fly off of its own accord? Or do I need to enlist the husband to catch it and get the number? Hopefully not the beginning of another Pidge saga
buster151 Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 its heard how well the last one got looked after lol id leave it see if it goes on its own if not then get ring number

Guest pigeongirl Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 This one will be a GB youngster. It will probably find its own way home tomorrow. Probably just been on what we call a training toss where we take them a certain amount of miles in a basket and let them go to find there way home. The odd one gets lost but normally makes it home by the next day. I had a youngster come home today after going missing last wednesday but is home to try another day.
