JADE Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 Well done. Pity Gordon Campbell wasnt in national. Great performance with an unfavourable distance compared to some
Guest Basin View Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 Your right on the dist aspect Forfar gets almost 3 mile on Montrose from Clermont....at Arniston we have 8 miles on Forfar...further east the race point less favourable to the east coast. Check Ypres Peterhead has only 50 mile on Pitlessie, Fife yet, they fly 60 mile from Brechin. Gordon was in Ninewells getting a knee joint replacement, I took his birds to Fed marking....he has his reasons for not being in SNFC...from Eastbourne last year he had the furthest flying day bird in the 5000 entered again not in the SNFC. I am glad to compete in Montrose with such a quality flyer as Gordon he is always there...maybe he might think about SNFC membership in the future.,
