Found Lovely Pigeon Nwhu 2011 A6833

Pigeon A6833 landed in our garden over a week ago. It's a lovely bird, the owners were notified 2 days ago that it is here but they still haven't contacted me.

I can't look after this bird and I have 2 cats that want to make a meal of it.

Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do to get it back to the owners or is there a pigeon sanctuary that might take it in if the owners don't want it?

I live near Aberystwyth, it comes from Wigan.

Is it possible for you to contain the bird say in a cardboard box or something if you can it may be possible to get someone local to you to pick it up,but you must have it contained.
