blue lad Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Its that time of year again arrived on the rig on thurs found this one today near death under a winch it has been on the rig since last weekend i was told . Iam around 50mls off humberside . another doz flying around the rig all afternoon in a very strong eastrly wind . any help id be very grateful.Its bloody sad to see them out here !

Said bird died today ! Its been very windy all day .However since around four pm the wind has dropped to 30 knts or less. very hazzy visibilty 1mile.Seen quite a few batches of 5 to 8 birds flying around last hour and half . they are all trying to get home poor buggers!
john cumming Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 yes same here im on the shearwater platform about 135 miles east of dundee and there are a couple flying around here today as well, seems early here to be seing them, just hope they work back to the beach john
