Guest TAMMY_1 Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 anybody else had any bother with Bricon over last couple of weeks with it not timing birds in,phoned Mark Palmer two weeks ago with a couple of birds not registering and on Saturday there we had 4 that never registered but Bricon fixed the problem with a new update saying there was a bug which stopped birds registering if too many were there at the one time, tried the clock last night when they were out and all birds timed in even though there were plenty coming in at once,so fair play they were quick in fixing it and luckily in both races we had a single bird first so they timed in but problem only arose when there were multiple birds at once
PIGEON_MAN Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 No problems this end having done the update I hope everything will be O.K.

Guest stb- Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 Secs have known about update for a while and should have updated members speedy clocks prior to racing!I though the base station would have run the new update into speedy clock when connected on race marking ?
pjc Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 I though the base station would have run the new update into speedy clock when connected on race marking ? I think it only updates if you select the update menu and doesn't do it automaticaly
PIGEON_MAN Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 Secs have known about update for a while and should have updated members speedy clocks prior to racing!Secs were only notified over the weekend about this particular update, there was a previous one about 3 weeks ago.
Guest pigeongirl Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 I had the same problems with mine not registering as they go over the pad. This week i lost out on winning position because i had to catch the birds and put them back over. Hope its all sorted now. I am club secretary and didnt get email on new update until last Thursday of which was way too close to basketing to get all members clock back and update. Have now done so fingers crossed.

Guest pigeongirl Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 I know many secs dont like doing updates etc.on marking nights including myself but it is possible and only takes a minute or two with the Speedy clock. i checked with my fed sec and he said leave till after race over incase any problems arise with the update. we also have a club rule that no ets changes done on basketing day. unlucky for me it was only me affected. and not all members can make start of basketing due to work commitments. but i do understand what your saying and it is annoying sometime with ets when things go wrong.
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 Secs were only notified over the weekend about this particular update, there was a previous one about 3 weeks ago. yes,our sec told us on saturday about it,the e mail I got from Mark Palmer came in on Saturday telling me there was a bug of some sort which affected multiple birds landing and going in together
