Henrik Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 Not got a lot of experience of widowhood but from what I,ve read and heard I would think you should feed the hen before the cock comes home so as she pays all her attention to him on his return, as for repairing some do and some dont.
andy Burgess Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 all things will work , some pigeons are better with diffrent methods or systems than others ,i think ive tried them all over the years .at the end of the day personally i found whats my system and happy with which individual birds perform under it .have even flown them for a year and found only 1 pigeon that done well, moved the others on ,bred more like him and performances were so much better.i am sure they werent all bad birds , but this suited me. hope above helps, and good luck.
novo10 Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 let our hens lay 2nd round and sit eight days then all hens moved then on widowhood let cocks sit on eggs to they leave them
