victorious Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 i have a cock i wanted for a 450 mile channel race this year he has already reared a pair of youngsters then went down on eggs again for 7 days but on the 5th day of sitting he threw his first flight why would he of done this as i didnt want this to happen ,any ideas of why this happened ,he is a yearling and not a late bred.

He'll more than likely do the same again next year, pair him a 4-6 weeks later next year. yes tony your probably right i read somewere before a about early moulters and late moulters that start the same time every year in fact i think it was in an old hand book and he said make sure you build your family on late moulters.
