Your bang on it Darren and your miles ahead of me.

I have a few skills which I am drawing upon.

These are media skills and believe me I'm going to pull out all the stops to bring this matter to the attention to the public, the press and other media.

I'm even warming to the Idea that was mentioned earlier about a demonstration with pigeon transporters. I know it would take some organising, but I dare say it could be done.

But I do believe we have to have to play it like our opponent and make this as high profile as possible, making full use of any publicity that we can get.

 

to fight your battle you will need weapons and the funding of such weapons is the way to bring this sport together the greatest sale of pigeons the world has ever seen an auction of the finest flying atheletes the world not just this country has ever put together there is your publicity my friend the way to fund a campaign to highlight the slaughter let the press come to you ive read of some sales reaching a million euros im sure the greats of this sport the studs the national winners international winners the one loft race winners will donate afterall its in everyones best interests and who wouldnt want to be involved in a sale that made history my friend i for one would be there to see the children of record breakers the future breeders of champions and to look at the faces of the people who maybe just maybe might save our beloved sport.i might even buy one or two of you a pint just a thought

But it's early days yet and we are just rallying the troops so to speak.

But we do the need the backing of all the unions and the thing that is of the utmost importance, is that they all agree.

Nor do we let them take over what we have started, it needs to be overseen by the fanciers themselves and start building this from the grass roots upwards, because we know exactly what happens when its the other way around.

This action may fail, but it won't be from the lack of trying.

If it does begin to gain some momentum then we will have to organise ourselves and involve as many people as we can.

I'm sure funding wouldn't be a problem, but I would hate to them misappropriated as I think the fanciers have ripped off enough over the years. We now have 97 signatures in less than 24 hours.

Lets hope this can keep up.
