Guest IB Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 Got my Colombovac for vaccinating birds against PMV. I make a habit of reading the label just to refresh my failing memory of these things, and came across a couple of new bits:- Company that holds VLA Marketing Authorisation is Pfizer, based in Kent, England, and County Cork, Ireland. Manufactured in Holland. ContraindicationsDo not use in unhealthy pigeons.Do not vaccinate during last 2 weeks prior to mating.Do not use on birds in lay or within 4 weeks before the onset of the laying period.Vaccination is safe in breeding birds provided they are vaccinated before the start of breeding. No information is available on the safety and efficacy of this vaccine when used with any other veterinary medical product. A decision to use this vaccine before or after any other veterinary medical product therefore needs to be made on a case by case basis. Do not mix with any other veterinary medical product.
