Guest strapper Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 with all the demands of fanciers wanting full info from sellers.. what do you feel on buyers and their info? should they give full info like expected of sellers? name and club /fed after all, anyone could be bidding and end up not paying and then the seller is left without any info about the bidder, and birds that could have been sold. lets have it fair both sides and continue to protect both parties.
pjc Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 maybe admin can keep a register for buyers with all details and only if a purchase pulls out, messes somebody around, doesn't pay etc should there details be released. With the current breakins etc i wouldn't want my details published.
Guest grizzler Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 wouldnt have any problem providing my details to anyone selling birds.

grizzal Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 I think when you join this or any Forum you should give 1,full flying name 2,pigeon club you fly in if any and loft number 3,club sec + contact number 4, email address so those in charge have everything at hand just incase of any trouble [jmo]

Guest stb- Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 Paul registering would not make a bit of difference as if someone changes his mind and dosent want to buy there is not much you can do about it, I think that has happened to us all at sometime in life, fortunatly you dont get to many time wasters in general, and you wont have lost anything apart from your time .
pjc Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 [/color] i wouldnt either phil but some are expecting sellers to do just that. catch 22 situation m8 Sellers shouldn't be asked to publish there address, if they want to disclose it thats upto them but it should be logged with admin.

You could get sued to death with that if anything happend. :o I NO ITS NOT NICE IF SOMEONE DOSENT PAY BUT EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO CHANGE THERE MIND , Even when you sighn a contract to buy you have a 7 day cooling of period and you can pull out then :o

They say as you are a member it means you have agreed to them disclosing your information. If this is the case then by being a member of the forum does that not give them permission to release if needed.
p charlton Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 you should not give your info and it should not be kept in the office of the forum it takes in min for someone to hack into the back office seen it done
micko and jack Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 just a thought could it be run on the same rules as ebay ?? if you bid its binding
THE FIFER Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 dont think it would be easy in auctions keeping buyers details, bids change to much,
Guest strapper Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 dont think it would be easy in auctions keeping buyers details, bids change to much, maybe just like an auction before bidding you should have your details with the auction place ..ie the site?..it would take less than 3-4 mins to reg... if the site charges sellers to sell then surely it has an obligation to protect sales?
Guest stb- Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 The RPRA etc give out your details to anybody who finds one of your birds! The way the forum is just now i would say no, as there will be loads on here who no one will know who they are anyway apart from a user name . There can be loads of reasons why people change there minds after buying somthing or bidding and buy posting names etc can open a whole can of worms for the site. Buy posting details you are basically accusing someone of something , and sometime there are genuine reasons why someone pulls out. Its a very GRey area.
Guest stb- Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 just a thought could it be run on the same rules as ebay ?? if you bid its binding yes thats right micko, but what do ebay do about it, not a lot or close your account :-/
