Further to my earlier posting the pigeon is still in my neighbour's garden but I managed to see the code on his ring today - GB10 H1245. AS the GB website tells you not to report a lost bird unless you have caught it (which I have tried and failed to do)I just thought I would publish it's code in case anyone is interested to know it is OK but not in a hurry to fly off! I will take the advice given and see if there is a local pigeon fancier in the village.

Not sure where you are AMY but the ring was issued to a club in Ballymena N.IRELAND, Secretaries name is Robert Alexander 02825 647248,but it would be better to capture the bird before you ring.
