Guest Ninna Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Think I got his number wrong last time! He has been with us at Rhoose for nearly six days now and am becoming concerned that he seems content to stay?? Any help would be really appreciated. Is being fed and seems healthy..........but we are not fanciers and concerned about his welfare.
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Unfortunately this ring was issued by a specialist club so we cant tell you who the bird belongs to,it will have to be reported to the RPRA on 01452 713529 or otherwise on the website, strays@rpra.org.
Guest Ninna Posted July 17, 2011 Report Posted July 17, 2011 Thank you for your reply. We have reported him to RPRA who told us he is from Halifax, but we did not get an owners contact info. Would just like to think that he would be ready to go home soon.......any local people who could help would be good? Do not like to think of him coming to any harm. He is very tame and eats out of our hand. We even nicknamed him "Hally"
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 17, 2011 Report Posted July 17, 2011 I have been searching through the Welsh list of clubs in your area,I presume it is RHOOSE in South Wales correct me if I,m wrong and come up with this fancier,MR.B.THOMPSON 16 STATION ROAD RHOOSE phone 01446 711649,if you contact him he may be able to help you out,you will have to contain the bird in a box, garage or shed though before you ring him so that he can just come and pick it up.Let us know how you get on.
