Or isit ok for them just to use the door?How long do they need to be locked ion for when you 1st get them?Any tips on training them to stauy with me and not fly straight back to the old loft?How much food should each bird get each day? Whens the best time to feed them? And more questions o shall stick them on here

Whens the best time to feed them? And more questions o shall stick them on here It's up to you although a trap is nice for them to see out.Young birds will stay after about 10 days. Old birds can be a lot harder. Best to start with young ones.Get young birds i.e. ones that aren't flying yet. Let them out after 10 days and make sure they are hungry.Some people say around 2 table spoons per bird. Depends on their age and activity level. Give young birds plenty so they develop well, as much as they want in the evening.I think most people feed morning and evening. You could feed them one big one in morning. JMO

just ask me Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 people have differnt methods most people just shake the corn in the tin that you feed them in get them in the loft a aviary is good on a loft the youngsters can see there surroundings before flying out
