can any of our south coast members give us a insite on the weather on the channel yesterday 24th between the hours10am to 3pm as there was awful returnes into scotland

from what I've heard been fog and mist on channel every morning and hasn't cleared until after 12 , there's an Eastbourne sec on here I'm sure , perhaps he could shed some light on the subject

Mark, we were in Western France, Messac, Brittany.

 

From previous race control reports on how the National handles Channel Races, they've spotters that do a final visual check before liberation. I don't think this race control team would liberate knowing there was fog.

 

IMO it's not really the time for speculatation on what may have gone wrong when so many like myself are still waiting on their 1st bird.

just for information we the welsh national fc and wnr fed have held over today from huy because of the weather over the channel and beyond
