We have found a pigeon, seems to move ok and can fly up to perch on fence, we've given him corn and water... There are no cats around and he doesn't want to be handled so I'm letting him hop about in the garden. His yellow ring says 4776170 and then there is a blank greeny blue ring. WHat do I do to help him get home?

If you continue to feed him/her its strength will improve and it should make its own way home. I think it will be a Dutch bird with the amount of numbers on its ring. atb

give him plenty water and corn and he will clear off in a day or so.he will be tired and dehydrated so you are doing the right things for him

if you can capture him and then look what country rings says for exmple

 

IHU = Ireland

GB = great Britian

SU = scotland

WHU = Wales

BELG = beguim

NL = holland

PL = poland

FR = france
