lacking vitamins read it years ago , are they on darkness ???

IT MUST BE SOMETHING ELSE AS THE BIRD,S ARE KEPT IN A WIRE AVIARY AND GET AS MUCH SUN AS POSSIBLE IV,E JUST BEEN WATCHING THE BIRD IN QUESTION

well we can discount it been a vitamin deficiency , i would say its craving salt

put some electrolytes in there water or get an iodised salt block for horses

dont give them to much salt a little every 4 or 5 days is enough

 

yup too much is as bad as too little , i find electrolytes once a week enough when racing , if using the iodised block put in for a few hours then remove :)

versele laga 'grit with redstone' has 0.15% sodium....handful of that once a week :)
