I have just been up to Mr G Dawes to buy a nice batch of kirkpatricks. Mr Dawes was using a sex indicator to sex these young birds. It looked like a bit of metal on a bit of string. When i asked him if it really worked he put it to some of his cock birds and it went one way and the same to his hens and it moved in a different way. How does it work and does anyone know where i can buy one

Bought one years ago it actually is a magnet and wouldnt be without it
