One Of My Yb'S Crop Was Blew

one of my ybs crop is blew up like a balloon can someone tell me what this is

I read a thread on this last year and the advice someone gave was make a couple of small holes in its crop with a need and it will deflate but they did say the problem will keep coming back.

Sounds like an air sack to me. Put an injection needle into the centre of the swollen area and gently squeeze the air out through it, sometimes you have to repeat this as it inflates again but normally once is enough.

i didn't realise i had given the birds maize that was damp and one birds throat blew up like a ballon i asked a few local fanciers what they thought and both said the same cull it.I seperated it and left it to nature 2 weeks later it had gone down itself.
