alan smith Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 hey guys am new on here am looking for sum adveise on racing the channel av raced birds for the last five years with a little bit succes ave got five 1st and many other club position i have 30 birds to race 9 of them are yearlings and the rest are up to 5 years old they have been to the coast many times would you channel boys send them over the water and wat way would you go about doing it a fly them on the roundabout system and wats the best feed for the distance i feed marmians widhood is that sutabile for the distance eny advise would be much apprcieted
OLDYELLOW Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 Welcome to Pigeon Basics Alan , we hope you enjoy the site , I've raced yearlings up to 526 miles however I think better to race up to 360 miles and hang on to them and let them mature 2 year olds 400 mile 3 year plus 500+ miles as for feeding that's down to personal choice I like a good Super widowhood mix
