you can if the cock is of a good family

you can let him out with the second hen as long as you take note, in your loft book and the second hen dose not get treaded with the cock you have paired her with as you Will not know who the sire is unless there are 2 different colors. or failing that through away the eggs she lays

and keep them away :emoticon-0126-nerd:

If I let him and her out and pairs with her as well as his hen on egg.How are they going to manage sitting on eggs for 2 pairs, his sire has won, also the cock I want to pair up both parents have won.he is The one I want to pair up really,Both cocks are Blue Bars so makes it difficult to work out who is sire of this other hen.Looks like will have to get rid of eggs

I'd leave the 'other' hen locked in the box with her own cock, until the hen that has laid her 1st has laid her 2nd, and that cock starts sitting. This will allow both pairs to bond with their correct partner.

If you leave things as they are you won't have any youngsters - the birds will end up going to the wrong boxes to fight, they will fight, and the eggs will get smashed.
