hen = is she egg bound ???? or calcium deficient ( just going by time of year ) or perhaps knocked herself , calcium tablet down throat and cod liver oil capsule , then see if any change :)

doesnt sound good mate.what are the droppings like?best to get her away from the rest of the birds.if she is sitting hunched up then she is either over heating with a temperature.or if she is hunched up and pulling her tail into the body then she has pain inside her somewhere.

here we go again the guessing game .as u have said u cant afford the vet.

go to an experienced fancier in your club and seek his advice it could be a

number of things

she would have to be very highly infected with a resp problem to make her sit around as you say.

if you cant afford to have the bird seen too by a vet then i would suggest taking her droppings to them..if thats ok.

for her to be stressed as this it can be anything and no one on here could diagnose whats up with her without seeing her or her droppings.

if the bird is valuble to you then i would ask the vet if you could pay something down then pay the rest in a week or two.

mate birds dont go sick with a clacium deficiency.its usualy hen that dont have enough calcium to produce eggs or of they do then they go off their legs for a while.so unless you are depriving your birds of calcium i would get some advice.

well done ginge glad you got it sorted weren't ribbing you in any way

but U need a lot of information before U can give a diagnoses sometimes

symptoms are very similar and there's not a lot of vets in the UK that

no it's head from its ass good luck m8.
