police can decifer any hard drives so incase of such a despute it would be your hard drive that would be decifered not the sites information , im sure thats the case in internet crimes which include alot of crimes

as this has been answered and pms are not accessed just simply forwarded in a dispute , you can all be assured your pms are safe as its not done on this site  , and Vallance who also has a site says not possible , then i think the subject is closed enjoy the site

I have just unlocked this to place my message, I am on ADMIN and cant look into any PM's BUT my own,

Theoretically I could read anyone's PMs, because they are stored as files on our web server and I have access to the server. But first of all, I dont and wont (unless I have no other option as described by other posters). There is no way for me to access anyone elses PMs through the site, I have access to my own and that is it.

 

Now that said, if I were to PM 'Mr X', he then is quite able to copy that PM and send it to other people without my knowledge. Likewise I would be able to copy and send his PM to other people without his knowledge. I do not advocate this however because I do not think that it is correct to distribute personal communications, I simply wanted to state what is possible.
