screen resolution

whats happening to the screen width, it seen to change on different threads,  i heard of broad band but  this is some thing else  ;D  i have  a 20" monitor and at  times you think the walls  are  getting squashed,   and reading it  is like watch the tennis, with my head going from right to left :o
