we meet up at 7.00pm i think its daft that some club and feds do there clocks so early like most people are saying its not fair on the birds i would do my best to get that changed. we dont get that my sun in this country i like to be in the garden with my birds and the sun not rushing round taking clocks to the club ;)

take it your no a clock setter? why should the clock setter suffer, spend a few or more hours at club house doing clocks? :emoticon-0179-headbang: , also if you think you have a good one you want to see the result as soon as ! do you think on other sports they say ..... ooh by the way the result will be 2morrow? eeh no.

no different to waiting for your fed or national result mucker. The season is short enough, so why not wait for ALL your entries return(or the majority), before going to the club hut?. Its not hindering any clock setters either, whether its straight after the race or waiting till later. I,d far rather relax in my garden watching my birds return. than running away from them, its not fair on them. imo.

Very important to see the latter birds coming in. We go 2 hours later but if the members wanted 3/4 hours I would certainly go along with that.

We have our clocks read at 7pm but if you have to phone around to see who's got an early bird so you can get to the club an hour later crazy. You then find out who's won before you get to the club, I would prefer to get to the club at 7pm thinking i'd won rather than learn by phone.
