Is This A Pigeon ?

I was surfing on net, and just saw this Imagfe of bird..

 

And by the feature and anatomy, I thought it is a Pigeon

But I never Saw such type of Pigeon even not in wild....

 

 

 

 

SO just thought, People who know more than me... Will better tell me...

Is it a species of pigeon family... ??

Beak and wattle certainly look pigeon like. Mean looking bugger. What part of the world is it from?

they are very nice, seen them in flesh in a private collection, very expensive birds

yes its a pigeon your right their its a nicobar pigeon (caloenas nicobarica) very rare and on cities 1 and also very expensive lovely bird

I came across this pigeon in a zoo yesterday it is a Torresian Imperial Pigeon
