well i suppose 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'......are these called dragoons?....i've a friend that was looking for some last year

These are English Carriers, different breed. Dragoons are pictured below:

These are the real deal english carriers, tall and slender - totally different shape to a dragoon.

 

My birds are around 16-18 inches when standing properly - they peck my knees all the time.

 

Also the black male isn't even standing properly next to the racer male.

I haven't flown any of my carriers yet, i might fly some young next year.

I don't know anybody that keeps dragoons, so i don't know if they fly well.

not sure if I like them or not but i suppose if i was in the loft with them around me you could get a better feel for the birds, you like them thats the main thing good luck for 2011
