have you a peom that you like that is to do with rememberance day or any war?.

 

heres one i wrote one day when i was bored..way back in january of this year.

 

its called where is my country..this was after seeing many troops going without the real items they need over there in iraq and afghanistan.

there are hidden meanings in the words...aimed at our goverment for not providing what they need.

 

 

Where are you when I need you

Im fighting for what you believe in

To many families in pain

With too many families grieving

 

Your sat back there in your home

In a room where the fire roars

While im stuck over here alone

Fighting the war of all wars.

 

Many bullets around me screaming

But I have no fear of dying

The only fear I have

Is thinking of them back home crying

 

Where are you now my country

Now I need you most

Giving freedom to my enemy

Do you think you’re a worthy host

 

I salute my queen and country

But who,s to salute me

A old box thats carved with my name on it

That will bring me back to thee

 

My life I lay down for freedom

Of another nationality and name

That kills and mames innocents

Will no one take the blame

 

Theres a bullet with my name on it

One day it will find its journeys end

And hit the target its aimed at

My job is to fight and defend.

 

Will you not acknowledge

That this is an endless campaign

That this war will never be over

While we.. rule and reign.

A few years back a police constable was murdered trying to apprehend a terror suspect ,after seeing pictures in the tabloids of his grieving family i made up a small verse in my head

and that's where its stayed till now ,TO OUR POLITICIANS

 

Ask why god made the oceans so vast in contrast to our planet

was it to keep the factions apart that would dwell upon it

so gether roon your but and ben this worlds now foo ae angry men

sit doon and take heed before another geed brother should dee for whut
