Hi

 

I have been watching a series of clips on youtube and noticed that a lot of fliers 'winter there birds out' in aviaries. Does anyone have any photos of their aviaries?

nice set up dov when youer gone i can keep my racers in there  but seriously did you make it all youer self mate its nice but what do you use on floor in averiy  one im building for boy will have concret with drain in middle so can wash out i like the bath idea though

Yes I made it all from from scratch, I made the mistake of making it one big aviary with a natural floor, since then I have laid 2x2 slabs and have split into three sections a lot easier  also I have changed the section doors to mesh ones

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I bought these nest boxes and perches from Red Star lofts but not happy as I have to keep repaing them

Thats class Dunc, although i have seen it before its still impressive. You should start buliding them and selling. How much did it cost?

certanly loverly set up how can i take the mick now let me think no nothing  would love to have carpentry skills but im nail and hammer man if it looks stright it is and i only have one eye

I rolled up some weld mesh and put between the roof and the shelf, this allows the air in but not the intruders

I think the shower tray/bath is a fantastic idea!

I think i,ll have to widen the hole ,but that should not stop them from going out i,ve put a landing board inside as well and i seen them on that to-day, time will tell i,m in no great hurry .

The supports for the trays all fell off, they were only glued on, the trays were just too thin and cheap ply so swell up to easily and jam in the boxes

The sliding doors are MDF and no good for cleaning, basically just too cheap a job done to keep prices down

I am extending the workshop asap so Billy can make some products to keep him busy and make some pennies for himself. I'm too busy   ;)
