hi all just want to know how many people use Alto Tubular Heater in the stock bird shed

and if they know how much it costs to runs it

i use them mate cant really say if they cost much as the mrs pays the bills

ill soon now when she starts to have a go about them lol

ive got them in every section throughout my loft

hi mate its dependant on size of heater eg length or what kw rating they are range from 1kw to 3kw to how much you will pay do to usage ?

save your money boss  my experience from over 60 years of trying most every thing is youngsters reared in nature,s own climate fair  just as well as youngster bred in artifical conditions

heating up the dookit ooooooooooooo here comes the bacteria spores nae wonder they get avaian flu  on the cotrary open up the doors and let in everything apart from east and north east winds

the tubular heaters use 60 watts per foot so a four foot tube uses 240 watts which means they will use app. 1kw per 4hrs, probably the cheapest form of heating you can use, i have used tubular heaters under the dog beds in the kennels for years, the dogs certainly never complained.

ive never seen the birds looking so well since putting the heaters in

ill even use them to my adantage during race season to keep the heat at contant temp and bring on the form

I had mine out of Argos about 4 years ago, I didn't pay that much for them, shop arond mate they should be half that price. ;)

Bacteria thrive in damp conditions drying the atmosphere in the pen can only be a good thing.

That's what they say mate but it's been bloody cold this year and there are some nasty viuses about. Did a course in food hygiene, nothing can survive without water.
