the show has been the same old thing for years.

it needs new idea,s and something to bring the fanciers back...what i will say is this..the price goes up every year to gain entry and nothing changes to warrant an increase each year.

what it is good for is a good chat with m8s you only see at these shows.

 

p j lofts is always there and cheaper on similar items sold by boddy& ridewood there.

 

there will be no doubt plenty of birds for sale from several lofts/studs.

I believe the first year it was held at the Sobell Centre there were actually show classes but after that they stopped them because there was not enough room,perhaps bringing these back would create more interest,there must be other rooms there they could use,Strapper can you remember where it was held before Sobell they use to have the differant show classes in side rooms as you went in on the left.

it was held at the abercynon liesure centre for a few years and they had the show birds in the squash courts and main hall

Cheers for that Tom,travelled down there a few times,do you know if the show is being held at Caerphilly (Penyreol)spellings this year seen no adverts yet.

 

yes it is..just had paperwork for it recently...date is ..sat 23rd oct...penning of entries at 10am-12..entry fee £1 per pen all classes...free to get in.

I was hoping to come to show and fit in a few loft visit to boot :)
