can anyone give me a good basic widowhood system to get to grips with for next year. the first year or so all ive read about is how to keep em healthy and disease free. now i have to learn the widowhood system because the best birds i got left from young birds this year are cocks.

Get yourself a copy of 'The Widowhood Year by Dave Allen'....and go from there. An ideal starting point. Have a look on E-Bay, usually a copy on there from time to time.
