pjc Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 y do u want 1 for outside ov loft m8 ? just needs something to look at to waste away the hours waiting for his birds to come home!
Guest mick bowler Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Its cheap enough to check it but very expensive to change it! Make sure when using the digital ones your not in draught or will give false readings. Cheapest way to check humidity is look at your grit/minerals, if they damp your humidity is high!!
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 what should humidity be? and how would you change? are these de-humidifiers/ ionisors any good? Never bothered too much what it was, just made sure they had plenty fresh air and able to shut lofts off according to the weather with no gales or rain blowing in .
kev43 Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Never bothered too much what it was, just made sure they had plenty fresh air and able to shut lofts off according to the weather with no gales or rain blowing in . thats y we just fitted shutters 2 the inside ov the lofts where the vents are 2 keep draughts and rain out tammy
leighton1984 Posted October 8, 2009 Author Report Posted October 8, 2009 one out side so you can check what Differences is. if you get the humidity right the pigeon's will rest at night same with humans. we can close & open the windows if 2 cold or too hot they can not. it all about the Climate in the loft
