Donations For Fenn House Sheltered Housing

hi members on thurs 12 /8/10 fenn house sheltered housing for the elderly of isleworth were victims along with a lot of other householders of a flood due to a burst water main, they were under around 3ft of water resulting in them losing all their possesions i know most things will be replaced by the water board insurance ,i was very lucky the water stopped short of my house so i thought how can i help these poor neighbours and friends ,knowing i could'nt help everyone so with me being the caretaker of fenn house i decided to run a pigeon auction to raise some funds to help lift the spirits of the elderly residents of fenn house some of these have no next of kin , most wont be back in their property for at least 4/6 months . funds raised will give them maybe a party of some kind and go towards their outing fund ,as i have said before it is easy to replace items lost but not replace peace of mind of being safe in their homes once again ,maybe we can help do that by bringing the community together of fenn house and ease that fear away ,janette taylor has given me permission to use the auction site on pigeonchat i will see how many donations of either old birds, latebreds or 2011 youngbirds i get offered before i set a date so if anyone can help please pledge on this thread and i will get a list going, janette has started the fund with a £100 donation from pigeon chat thank you janette and pigeon chat for your kindness ,kind regards vinnie
