Hi, I have found a dead racing pigeon.

The hard ring number is WHU 2010 D02561

Race band number is 2581

Is it possible to find the owner, please?

I found him where I work at the Land Rover site. He had been looking around the bushes outside the Operations Manager's office for a couple of days and he was ever so sweet. He even came into the building. Then he disappeared. When knew that he still could fly and so assumed that he had gone on his way. We didn't see him from about midday on Thursday. Then, this morning I found him by the fence at the pallet park. I wish now I could have caught him, but he was still quite lively and too quick for us at the time.

Thank you, Gail. I look forward to hearing from you.

I did hear that there was another pigeon found dead a week ago but it was taken away before I could get to it. The manager of that area of the works did say that it had rings, so I wonder if the pair of them landed together.

I would be interested to know where the pigeon was released.

Kind regards,

Zac. (Zac@westielawrence.co.uk).

The owner is from North Wales, I will report it tomorrow.

Thanks for posting on here Zac :)
