Guest Jargre- Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Have to say a big thanks to Evergreen sheds who came good in all this weather, got three sheds all told made in the last month or so by them and also had them making lots of other stuff for me including Aviaries and stuff, I know lots of people tend to go for the big names like Blakes lofts etc but honestly, the sheds we have are just as good if not better and they have been hit by the worst rain you could imagine. (People know my racing lofts are well in the open) not a drop of water has got in. Anyway, sorry about the blatant advert for the Evergreen sheds, 8) but they deserve it and if it can benefit other fanciers out there to know there is a top quality shed maker out there that can compete with the big guns then you might just be happy to give them a try. One of the stock lofts One of the racing lofts, looks even better now I got the decking down but as its been p****** down not been able to get pics to do justice, will do when I get the chance though. Now to break the birds in.... ??) ;D ;D ;D ;D
Guest Jargre- Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 neat & tidy Cheers mate, had a lot done to them inside, sections, corridors etc done to my specs, good thing about this firm is they are new to the game and will listen to everything you say so you get exactly what you want not what the loft makers think you want.
pigeonpete Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Look really nice sheds mate, The first 1 will be protected from the rain very well :-) ;D Like i said to you in pm, ( i know it was a while back) do they deliver? :-/ look real quality though mate, you will be starting a stud next with the quality birds you have, and now the lofts. All the best with them, have fun painting them :-)

That's the problem with any loft maker, they can all compete to a degree but the hidden price of delivery and construction can be a killer, with mine it cost me nought to get them delivered and £40 to get them erected, cracking price. What painting? You promised to do that for me. ;D ;D ;D Starting a Stud? Nice thought.

Guest Jargre- Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Nice lofts, were they made to your own spec.Yes, but you can't see them as they aren't in the pics. Will do some more when it stops thumping down and I get a better camera. Whiteknight, you were drooling when you saw my birds, so who's the window licker. pmsl. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D
stantheman Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 thanks mate i found there website and have emailed them for a price
Guest Jargre- Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 thanks mate i found there website and have emailed them for a priceNice one, remember that price comes with quality, I know for a fact that this company uses better grade wood than the blakes one I had, no doubt all can make claims to upgrade etc which is good for the buyer. I only go on what I know so good luck with whoever you buy from.

Never seen so much rain down here in decades and not one drop of rain in so that's the seller for me.

Never seen so much rain down here in decades and not one drop of rain in so that's the seller for me. Neither am I but I could build a better loft than those that use mass produced templates, I have seen daylight though some of the weather boarding. Most of these guys are on bonus to build so many lofts in a week so the quality suffers. They skimp on wood thicknesses and their snagging is crap. Just walk round Blackpool show or meet me there and tell me any different that they are worth the money they charge :-/
lawrie Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 is it cheaper to buy the materials than to buy the loft?
