we cut a hole in the floor, roughly in the middle and just cover with fine mesh .size is up to you.ours is a ft sq.also easy to cover again with a board.

I cut out a board the lengh of my yb loft underneath the boxes and covered with fine mesh, i then covered under the boxes with mesh, the idea is fresh air will be entering at all times, I will have to see how it works :) :)

mine is simular i have pipo boxes in yb darkness loft i cut  4inch slots under them in floor covered with fine wire then boxed in under boxes leaving 2inch gap below boxes so when loft is darkened air flows up front of boxes to gap at roof level above boxes extra ventalation with no extra light as i block of vents in front of loft when i darken off

I have a 1 foot square hole in the floor in corner of loft I place drinker on a grill over it as the breeze blows through it keeps all the feathers out of the drinker. with a solid floor you could use plastic drainpipes on the sides or back of loft.

open up a sack nail piece  of 2"x1"  at top and a piece at the bottom  for weight   hang in front of light source  remove in the morning no problem

Inverted vents,   cut a hole and put a normal vent on it,  then on the outside put ply wood over it closed at the top and open at the bottom

Hi Mark

you got any measurments for this vent you posted, i was interested on how much hang over you have from the vent if that makes sense,
