thanks just aquick question ive justfitted the stalltrapto one section of my two section loft on the other section is the wooden sputnik that came with thel oft should i remove this so the birds have to land straight on the landing board of the stall trap

Hi blaz i think its 5 inch i asked on here and made it to what people said lol i could always change it by sliding each section devider down halfinch but would lose an entry point,i havnt got the birds yet so cant test it lol

it is easy to make a landing board ext that slides on and off if u want a bigger landing board i would take the spuntic off as to not confuse youngsters

 

yeah i ws thinking the same steve ill take it off i think

better to cut it down . our have a bird turn round and out on race day.even at 4 .5 in the odd 1 or 2 can still do it. our don,t lose any get your other half to get som half inch ply and cut out to fit each one then you don,t lose any cut and stick with a strong glue

should be 4" apart

 

that alright if your birds small medium .you get a decent sized bird it will muck about before it tries to squeeze in to a 4in space. even more so on race days . only my opinion as we all do things slightly different .
