right im hopping to actly start up this year if council pull there fingers out give me a house but anyways

 

i was just wonding do you think it be ok to use a garden shed ? if so any tips on converting it

sorry for spells if any are wrong

yes thats what i started with just take out the window in the side and fit a  trap and put in some vents at the bottom just have a bit of fun this year untill you can get a proper loft

i use to race out of a garden shed when i was 13 to 15 and i won a few club races :D just bein 21 now i would have liked to make a loft but i have a son now so i thinking of a garden shed lol

a garden shed is fine m8,take the top bit of wood at the back out

and put wire along it [air vent],at the front where the window is

take out and put a sputnic trap and at the bottom cut 2 12x6 holes

and put plastic vents over the top,depends on the size if you have a corridoor

and sections plus put a vent on each side at the top.

inside nestboxes or boxperches [jmo]

also make sure is on blocksof the ground

nice thanks :D i was things of puttin like a small box over the window holes for the birds to go into to look around the area with a trap on that or nexted to it

nothink wrong with shed mate i no a good few flyers that do it and hold ther own each week in club fedyou just got to keep it dry and well ventialted and you shouldnt have a problem

yup build your own and put upvc cladding on ;) water tight wont need treating and will  look nice and if needs a clean just presure wash it ;)

can use onduline available in clear and black sheets ;)

i no flyers that have a clear roof made from strong plastic and there raceing went down hill specially with there cocks being able to see other birds outside and sitting on roof then when they went back to normal roof results started to come back but all to you own

you could have all clear just depends on what you want ,too much heat can cause problems so id go for part 1/3  of roof and a system where can shut it out with sliders if gets too hot ;)
