Guest frank dooman Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 yes thats what i started with just take out the window in the side and fit a trap and put in some vents at the bottom just have a bit of fun this year untill you can get a proper loft
Guest lvlasked Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 i use to race out of a garden shed when i was 13 to 15 and i won a few club races just bein 21 now i would have liked to make a loft but i have a son now so i thinking of a garden shed lol
grizzal Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 a garden shed is fine m8,take the top bit of wood at the back out and put wire along it [air vent],at the front where the window is take out and put a sputnic trap and at the bottom cut 2 12x6 holes and put plastic vents over the top, depends on the size if you have a corridoor and sections plus put a vent on each side at the top. inside nestboxes or boxperches [jmo] also make sure is on blocksof the ground
Guest lvlasked Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 nice thanks i was things of puttin like a small box over the window holes for the birds to go into to look around the area with a trap on that or nexted to it

Guest lvlasked Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 you think it be better havin a clear roof on over the normal shed roof ?
Guest bakes Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 you think it be better havin a clear roof on over the normal shed roof ? i no flyers that have a clear roof made from strong plastic and there raceing went down hill specially with there cocks being able to see other birds outside and sitting on roof then when they went back to normal roof results started to come back but all to you own all the best
OLDYELLOW Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 you think it be better havin a clear roof on over the normal shed roof ? you could have all clear just depends on what you want ,too much heat can cause problems so id go for part 1/3 of roof and a system where can shut it out with sliders if gets too hot
