cowman Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 well if your going to leave a 1 inch gap say goodbye to your birds a weazle or stoat can get through that gap also your leaving it open to rats and mice too .

OLDYELLOW Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 that steel gridding ideal on floor mesch most of loft and buy some plastic securty shutters so can switch from been a glorified avairy to a dry loft
Guest IB Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 Agree that mesh wouldn't look well on the front of your new loft. I think you need proper aviary mesh, and as small mesh size as possible. 1 inch gap is too big, that will let in vermin.
p charlton Posted April 9, 2010 Author Report Posted April 9, 2010 that steel gridding ideal on floor mesch most of loft and buy some plastic securty shutters so can switch from been a glorified avairy to a dry loft with avairy netting or the steel gridding
OLDYELLOW Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 with avairy netting or the steel gridding id go with avairy netting the gridding for floor only would look ugly on sides/ front imo
p charlton Posted April 9, 2010 Author Report Posted April 9, 2010 i am going to use the avairy netting its just going to be on the front here is the shed
