Guest cosmic dave Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 I have just been given a bird, it comes from the same breeder as the rest of my birds, it was found under a lorry on the m1, I have contacted the owner who doesn't want it back so I am trying to sort it out. I have wormed and de liced it and am keeping it separate, but I have noticed its legs are a lot redder than my other birds. any thoughts ?
andy Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Streeters tend to look the same. Possibly oily/diesel residue from drinking and wading in puddles
Peckedhen Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 My thanks to Cosmic for collecting and taking this bird in. Yet another I sold that hadn't been transferred, so guess who got the phone call!!
Guest pigeon82 Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 red legs meant to be sign of good health i think
OLDYELLOW Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 been out in the elements so thats the reason for the red legs
