hi all, some of u may remember that i had a post saying that im happy to collect strays within a 20 mile radius of crawley,west sussex this new post is just to let fanciers (and non fanciers)know that i now have a new mobile no which is 07539 625844 i normally cover this area for work so am more than happy to help out if i can all the best kev

its a pity we cant get more fanciers involved as im sure most of us have had a bird reported by a non fancier who cant tell if a bird is flown out,dehydrated,or ill or dont know what to feed it so understandably they want them collected asap, im sure with a bit of organisation we could cover most of the country ourselves and collect strays for the owners until they can be sent for, we could post a list of fanciers willing to help. after all we would be helping ourselves wouldnt we, kev+deb

most transporters used to have stray baskets quite often i've handed birds to drivers to be released , its a shame these are a thing of the past
