Found Pigeon In North East Derbyshire

Hi

I have returned from work to find a pigeon in my kids play house. The bird has a blue ring with number GB10H 45435.

 

Is a brown and white bird with what looks like oil on a part of one of its wings ad a small patch of oil on its tail. Its secure in the play house with food (bread?)and water.

if you have any rice that will be more appealing to the bird than bread , if you open the wing up on the bird it may be stamped , if no fanciers on site in your area that can collect it you may be better off reporting it to the R.P.R.A ON LINK BELOW , thanks for taking care of this bird and trying to help it , welcome to pigeon basics

well i have now picked the bird up it is really well flown down and has 2 puncture wounds on it must have been hit by the bop and escaped then just kept going
