Brown Wattle

i have 27 young birds just one bird has a brown colour wattle,the feathers around it seem to be wee tiny unopened ones,they look wet untill you look closer,(not wet) it seems ok otherwise, i just watched it treading a hen.its been like this for 2 or 3 weeks now. any ideas. (the birds not quite 3 months old yet)

I was going to say possibly mock feeding during courtship. You've seen it tread a hen, so I'd now say it's definitely due to mock feeding, and nothing to do with illness or disease.
