are its legs broken ? or is it lacking calcium ?? either way best soluition would be give it a calcium tablet get an old stocking slip bird in to and suspend the bird to top of a box with a cup hook ensure it can get to food and water tho :)and if its a hen could well be egg bound :)

Definately sounds like a lack of calcium m8, get a half calcium tablet over its neck, or disolve a whole tablet in the drinking water.
